Job summary

MG2 is seeking a Project Designer (Level 2) in Seattle, WA to help generate original design concepts for new construction and major renovations. You’ll contribute to the full design process, produce construction documents, and communicate ideas clearly to the team.

You will collaborate with architects and designers, coordinate with consultants, and participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure design intent is maintained. A degree in architecture and 6+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 6+ years of professional architecture or design experience.
• Licensed professional certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, VRay and Enscape.
• Experience with sustainable material sourcing and embodied carbon preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with generation of original design concepts and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with architectural and design staff on projects of various types and scales.
• Coordinate project deliverables with external consultants and partners.
• Contribute to QA/QC reviews to maintain design intent across phases.
• Assist with project specifications and material research.
• Support construction documentation production and RFP/RFQ materials.
• Contribute to MG2 design culture and standards adherence.
