Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Janitorial Crew Member to join our fast-paced cleaning teams. Shifts vary days/nights including weekends; starting pay is $18.01 per hour and benefits may apply for eligible employees.

You will clean floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, handle supplies, and report major repairs. Travel across a multi-state radius may be required; a valid driver license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of floor care for vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood.
• Ability to travel to various work sites.
• Ability to work nights/days and weekends.
• Must present and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean hard floor surfaces and sanitize/extract floors and carpets.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass partitions; polish furniture.
• Service and stock restrooms; remove trash and replenish supplies.
• Notify managers of major repairs or system needs.
• Back up for crew members within territory as needed.
• May require occasional overnight shifts and driving within multi-state radius.

Occasional overnight shifts may be requiredRequirements for our Project Crew Member Position:Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance workKnowledge of proper floor care techniques for a variety of floor types (e.g., vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood)Ability to travel (drive) to various work sitesAbility to work nights/days and weekendsPresent and maintain valid driver licenseAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
