Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an operational cost accounting role.
• Experience in commercial construction, telecom, or related industries preferred.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction methods.
• Financial acumen on equipment utilization, rates, profitability analysis.
• Solid understanding of construction accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage project cost control systems.
• Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms.
• Deliver accurate cost reporting and insights to leadership.
• Support development and execution of collective agreements.
• Coordinate invoicing documentation, including declarations and certificates.
• Prepare LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases.
• Validate third‑party invoices and reconcile with client systems.
• Monitor equipment usage, rental agreements, subcontractors, and compliance.
• Assist project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, payment resolution, and month‑end journal entries.
