• Commercial & Residential General Contractor looking for a Project Coordinator

This general contractor has been in the industry in South Florida for over 10 years with a strong pipeline of repeat clients and is rapidly growing. They focus in the general commercial sector with upcoming work in medical offices/ clinics, data centers, auto/retail, etc. They are actively seeking for a project coordinator that has experience with a general contractor and understands basic construction documents.

Description

• Coordinate and manage licensing and permitting
• Oversee the close-out of permits and ensure timely project compliance
• Handle subcontracts, lien waivers, and subcontractor warranties
• Manage subcontractor insurance certificates
• Prepare and track AIA contracts and AIA billing
• Maintain accurate data entry for budgets, billing, and project documentation

Profile

• Prior experience in a construction office or similar clerical/project coordination role
• Strong working knowledge of submittals, warranties, and permits.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with construction permitting and licensing requirements
