Job summary

Trinchero Family Estates in Napa, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams for new wine products and packaging enhancements. The role focuses on coordinating activities across Compliance, Winemaking, Procurement, Commercial and Operations to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
  • Four or more years’ experience as a Project Manager, preferably in food/beverage or packaging.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects and/or methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to distill information into concise reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and participate in projects to support the objectives of the Project Management Office.
  • Lead project teams from cross-functional areas through development of new or changing packages and products.
  • Generate reports and analyses as needed.
  • Participate in the revision of products, components and production methods.
  • Qualify new packaging suppliers and co-manufacturers as needed.
  • Maintain product specifications.
  • Assist in development of new packages.
  • Cross-functional communication of risks, trade-offs and options.
  • Review art files and proofs for accuracy.
  • Provide back-up to other project manager team members.
  • Ad hoc analysis.
  • Administrative duties as required (PM software, Sharepoint, etc.).
  • Develop/improve processes with outward business focus.
  • Understand Food Safety and Quality Management System (ISO policy).
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to supervisor.

Responsible for the management of cross-functional project teams to deliver objectives for new wine products and packaging enhancement projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead project teams from cross-functional areas such as Compliance, Winemaking, Procurement, Commercial and Operations through the development of new or changing packages and products

  • Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the ISO Food Safety & Quality Policy
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Years of Experience: Four or more years’ experience as a Project Manager. Experience with food or beverage, and/or packaging engineering industry a plus.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects and/or methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and distill it into concise reports and recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Project
  • Experience with project management software a plus
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid
  • Primary location in Napa, CA, but may be required to work at any ofTFE's locations occasionally
  • Numerous projects in progress at any given time
  • Comply with company safety regulations

Salary Range: $108,666.00-$163,000.00

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharingcontribution.
