Job summary

Ledcor in Tucson, AZ is hiring a site-based Project Coordinator for its Mining team. You will work with field teams interpreting mine plans, performing quantity calculations, production tracking and daily progress reporting.

The role supports shift planning, work packages, survey/layout tasks, timesheet compilation and material coordination, while participating in safety reviews on site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in field engineering, project coordination or similar in mining.
• Track record on multi-phase mining or resource-sector projects.
• Education in engineering, construction management or mining technology (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Proficiency with Primavera scheduling tools and related software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mine plans, drawings and specifications for supervisors and crews.
• Perform quantity calculations, production tracking and daily progress reporting.
• Help develop shift plans, work packages and operational sequencing.
• Support surveying and layout work including control points and as-built data.
• Compile timesheets and production logs; coordinate materials, consumables and equipment.

The coordinator works alongside field teams interpreting mine plans, drawings and specifications for supervisors and crews, performs quantity calculations, production tracking and daily progress reporting, helps develop shift plans, work packages and operational sequencing, supports surveying and layout work including control points and as-built data, compiles timesheets and production logs, coordinates materials, consumables and equipment, and takes part in safety reviews and toolbox talks. Requirements include 4+ years in field engineering, project coordination or a similar role within mining, a track record on multi-phase mining or resource-sector projects, education in engineering, construction management or mining technology (bachelor’s degree preferred), proficiency with Primavera and other scheduling tools, and willingness to travel and remain on site for the duration of each mining project.
