Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Project Coordinator I to track progress, facilitate communication, and ensure all project requirements meet timelines and budgets. The role supports government contracting programs and AS9100 processes, coordinating meetings, risks, surveys, and PMO activities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in project coordination, experience with large programs, and proficiency with MS Project and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role.
• Minimum 3 years supporting large scale programs (> $1M annually).
• Ability to manage several tasks and exercise independent judgment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely deliverables.
• Assist PMs in executing AS9100 processes, including scheduling and documenting meetings.
• Ensure PMs review and update Risk Trackers and distribute Customer Surveys.
• Manage PMO meeting invites and facilitate meetings (Updates, Tag-Ups, Risk Reviews, KPI Reviews).
• Update PM trackers and alert PMs to changes in estimated completion dates.
• Monitor Global Support RMA trackers and notify PMs of stale status.
• Create and update high-level schedules; serve as ADS contact for updates.
• Maintain PMO travel and PTO trackers and ensure clear cross-team communication.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field

High School diploma/GED

PMP certification or similar credentials

Strong organizational and time management
