Michael Page is partnering with a well-established Minnesota GC to hire a Project Coordinator who will support projects from start to finish with real responsibility.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources, work with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintain project documentation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The firm has grown significantly, handling 200+ projects annually and expanding into new markets.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with JOC processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Our client is a well-established GC with over 40 years in the market, known for its financial stability and consistent growth. The company has expanded significantly in recent years, growing 400% over the past 8 years to a team of 70 employees, with projected revenue of $40M-$50M. Originally rooted in post-frame construction (still delivering 200+ projects annually), the business has diversified into pre-engineered steel buildings and concrete precast, with a strong and growing presence across self-storage, residential, agricultural (including equestrian and dairy facilities), and light commercial sectors such as retail and restaurants. Their commercial division alone has seen approximately 40% year-over-year growth.

Description
  • Coordinate and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements on project sites.
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and material tracking.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
Profile

A successful Project Coordinator should have:

  • 3-5 years of exp in the commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with job order contracting (JOC) processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams
