Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager in Atlanta to own commercial interiors projects from preconstruction to turnover. You will develop budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts, and lead procurement, contract administration, and coordination with clients, architects, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and maintain thorough project documentation while ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing commercial interiors, tenant improvement, or renovation projects.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial interiors projects from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, landlords, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project performance and proactively resolve schedule, budget, and quality issues
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and project cost control
  • Partner with field teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, and final client handover
  • Foster strong client relationships that drive repeat business opportunities
