Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a top energy and utilities client in the United States. This role supports capital projects across the full lifecycle, coordinating schedules, costs, design deliverables, contractors, and construction activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, financially prudent, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced utility project environment, with strong communication and collaboration across Engineering, Construction, Supply

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects from design through construction and closeout
• Strong scheduling, cost tracking, budgeting, and project documentation skills
• Ability to coordinate across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, ROW, Environmental, and contractors
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support PMs throughout planning, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
• Maintain project schedules, costs, commitments, and actuals in Trimble
• Coordinate estimates and detailed design package reviews
• Support SOWs, contractor selection, ROW, regulatory, and environmental activities
• Support construction punch lists, safety documentation, commissioning, warranties, and closeout
• Assist with monthly financial/cost reporting and Trimble imports/exports
