C.W. Driver Companies is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support project teams in administration and management of construction projects.

You will plan, prepare, organize, and maintain critical project documentation while assisting day-to-day administrative tasks for the project team. The role involves collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, with potential field and office assignments across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 6 months–2 years of project administration/coordination experience.
  • Basic familiarity with construction accounting practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation and administrative processes; proficiency with CM software like Viewpoint, P6, Prolog.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with administration and documentation of change orders, RFIs, work orders, purchase orders, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, and punch list items.
  • Establish, organize, and maintain project administrative systems, files, correspondence, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process and distribute project correspondence, ensuring timely communication between staff, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with project accounting and compliance activities, including payment applications and subcontractor insurance tracking.
  • Support preparation, collection, and processing of project closeout documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including bond information and other admin docs.
  • Coordinate project office needs, including supplies and general day-to-day operations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal departments.

Position Summary:

C.W. Driver Companies is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Coordinator to support project teams in the administration and management of construction projects. This role is responsible for planning, preparing, organizing, and maintaining critical project documentation while supporting the day-to-day administrative needs of the project team.

The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to help maintain accurate documentation, efficient communication, and timely completion of administrative processes. This position may include both field and office assignments, providing exposure to multiple phases of construction across a variety of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project teams with the administration and documentation of change orders, RFIs, work orders, purchase orders, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, and punch list/work completion items.
  • Establish, organize, and maintain project administrative systems, files, correspondence, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process and distribute project correspondence while ensuring timely and effective communication between project staff, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with project accounting and compliance activities, including payment applications, certified payroll, preliminary notices, and subcontractor insurance tracking.
  • Support the project team with the preparation, collection, and processing of project closeout documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including bond information and other required administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate project office needs, including ordering and maintaining office supplies and supporting general day-to-day project operations.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, project teams, and internal C.W. Driver departments.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, organized, and readily accessible.
  • Promote C.W. Driver's core values while contributing to a positive, collaborative, and professional project team environment.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 6 months–2 years of project administrative, project coordination, or related experience.
  • Basic understanding of construction accounting practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation and administrative processes preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with Viewpoint, P6, Prolog, or other construction management software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and develop within the construction industry.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to navigate active construction sites, including climbing permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and utilizing construction personnel hoists. The role may require standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and performing typical office and computer-related tasks. Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations will be made as necessary.

Work may be performed in both professional office and active construction site environments. Jobsite assignments may involve exposure to moving machinery, heights, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, electrical hazards, and other typical construction-related conditions. Noise levels may range from moderate to very loud, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when working on active construction sites.
