Job Description: Purpose: Under general supervision, this position coordinates the engineering and support activities for various projects and/or programs.
May provide leadership, work assignments, evaluation, training, and guidance to others.
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or related work. Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.
May require a valid Texas driver license.
The project coordinator's purpose is to act as the TPS representative in the Land Development Information Services Division. This includes answering general transportation questions related to development in person, via Microsoft teams, email, meetings, phone, etc. They will also review and process corrections and exemptions for TPW. Additionally, this position will review for all development applications (site plans, subdivisions, and zoning cases) across geographical areas depending on division needs.
Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. *Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and initiatives.

This position is considered a “Critical” role and is critical to the operations of the City based on the preparation, response, and recovery phase of extraordinary situations or emergency conditions. Critical employees are necessary and vital to support City and department operation. Critical employee schedules may be modified based on extraordinary situations or emergency conditions. If the employee is authorized to telework, the employee may be required to telework on a day they are normally at their designated work site.
