Job summary

Staffmark Group in Toledo, OH is seeking a Project Coordinator (Direct Hire) to drive automotive production launches by maintaining schedules, aligning teams, and managing details from kickoff to closure.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales, and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. On-site, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience in project coordination, manufacturing, automotive production, or new-product launch preferred; strong entry-level candidates are also considered.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across customers and multiple internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned projects from kickoff through closure, maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Serve as the routine customer contact, leading meetings and documenting decisions, actions, and follow-up.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales, and support supplier and material tracking.
• Identify and escalation risks, maintain issue logs, and prepare status updates, KPI inputs, and reporting materials.
