Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced project operations support with updates to documentation, detailed reporting, and cost/schedule/ performance tracking.
  • Coordinate and facilitate high-stakes meetings, with precise agendas, action items, and minutes.
  • Create and consolidate inputs to deliver complex program deliverables and risk analyses to senior management.
  • Manage travel logistics for TDY/PCS to OCONUS, including visas, work permits, and housing arrangements.
  • Coordinate and track travel requests, approvals, site visits, and trip reports.
  • Oversee purchase requests for equipment, materials, and services through procurement systems.
  • Mentor junior coordinators and develop advanced project management practices.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Coordinator to join our elite team in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our mission-critical projects in the field of counter-manned systems (C-UxS) under a large Department of Defense (DoD) contract. This position demands a professional with extensive project management experience, in-depth knowledge of related duties, and the ability to drive project success through meticulous planning and execution. Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced project operations support, including comprehensive updates to CACI and customer program documentation, detailed reporting, and rigorous tracking of cost, schedule, and performance program parameters.
  • Coordinate and facilitate high-stakes meetings, ensuring precise agendas, thorough documentation of action items, and professional compilation of meeting minutes for distribution.
  • Create and consolidate complex inputs to deliver superior program/project deliverables, reporting intricate trends, anticipated issues, and sophisticated programmatic risks to senior management and teammates.
  • Facilitate the completion and tracking of intricate requirements for personnel traveling TDY (Temporary Duty) or PCS (Permanent Change of Station) to OCONUS locations, including intricate visa, work/residency permit, and housing arrangements.
  • Coordinate and track sophisticated short-term travel of team members to CONUS and OCONUS locations, managing detailed travel authorization requests, securing customer approvals, sending precise Visit Requests to sites, and reviewing comprehensive Trip Reports.
  • Coordinate and track intricate purchase requests for a wide variety of equipment, material, and services to support mission objectives, ensuring meticulous customer approval and following through on procurement processes via direct purchase or using CACI-established systems/processes to complete purchase orders.
  • Mentor and provide advanced guidance to junior project coordinators and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop and implement advanced project management strategies and methodologies to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations, Project/Technology Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, coordinating, and managing complex projects that provide mission capability to the government or a combination of relevant skills, education, and experience.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder/customer management and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge and mastery of Knowledge Management functions through SharePoint, TEAMs, and/or similar collaboration tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in developing comprehensive reports and briefings to support management decision-making using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI eligibility.
