Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a Maintenance Repair at our Warren facility. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance trades, conducting inspections, and using blueprints and diagrams to repair and maintain machinery and facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing, Crane/Forklift certification, and a valid driver’s license. A broad set of safety gear and tools is required, with a full range of benefits offered from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Crane/Forklift Certification – in-house training provided to obtain certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, cranes, micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Safety equipment such as safety boots, hard hat, fall protection, safety glasses, ear plugs.

Responsibilities

• Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Uses hand and power tools.
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.
