Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project coordination or project management with responsibility for schedule management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project is required.
• Experience with Jira is preferred.
• Proven experience scheduling physical installs for network hardware.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate physical hardware installs for routers, switches, and AV components across multiple locations.
• Manage vendors, submit orders, and track purchase orders to execution.
• Partner with field operations to align install timelines and resource availability.
• Maintain scope, schedule, and quality. Provide executive-ready status and reporting.
• Use Microsoft Project to build and maintain plans, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Coordinate conference room buildouts, including Wi-Fi routers, TVs, webcams, and wireless access points.
• Drive day-one readiness, act as point person, and remove schedule blockers.
• Support SDLC-aligned efforts in Waterfall or Agile environments as needed.

Our client seeks a scheduling-focused project coordinator to manage hardware installation efforts across multiple sites. The consultant will coordinate and schedule installs, manage vendors, track purchase orders, and align with field operations. The role requires strong ownership, concise communication, and the ability to drive project schedules using Microsoft Project while partnering with cross-functional IT delivery teams.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $58.00/hr. w2

• Background in infrastructure, networks, or servers.
• PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Competency with PM tools and techniques, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Strong organization, communication, relationship building, and critical analysis.
• Experience in AV vendor environments is a plus.
• Ability to lead discussions, provide concise updates, and spearhead deliverables.
