Job summary

Salute is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist with configuration management, supply chain, vendor and logistics management, and product procurement. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, risk analyses, and cross-functional collaboration to execute risk mitigation plans for project builds.

Primary duties include planning, procurement, budgeting, change orders, and coordinating with vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure timely deliveries and successful prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan material demand, inventory control and logistics readiness from vendors to OEMs and/or office.
  • Submit purchase requests, track purchase orders, submit goods receipts and process procurement invoices.
  • Maintain the budget.
  • Review and approve change orders and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Manage logistics of ordering and tracking parts for early prototype and engineering builds.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners to drive materials and shipments.
  • Troubleshoot issues and organize required meetings for ECOs and deviations.
  • Support local build activities by receiving shipments, tracking inventory, and kit materials to an assembly line.
  • Identify and document business requirements and provide scheduling and follow-up for issues.

Job description

T his role re q uires strategic thi n king and pro b le m -solvin g . The P r o je c t Coordina t or may lead and w ork with c r os s -functi o nal te a m s to mana g e chan g es, p erfo r m risk a n alyses, and e x ecute risk m it i g ation plans t o support pr o ject bui l ds.

Primary Duties within v a r i e d s cop e o f wo r k a n d e x pe c t at i ons w ill ran g e f r om:

  • Plans material demand, inventory control and logistics readiness from vendors to O E Ms a nd / o r office

  • Manages communication with vendors and contracted manufacturing partners closely to drive and track materials and shipments
  • Troubleshoots any issues
  • Organizes meetings as required for reviewing documents and approvals to implement ECOs and Deviations
  • Supports local build activities by receiving shipments, tracks and organizes inventory, and kits materials to an assembly line
  • Identifies and documents business requirements
  • Provides standard coordination support, to include scheduling, product development, and tracking/ follow-up of issues and action items
  • Communicates relevant information to various levels of partners, business groups and management
  • Prepares weekly dashboard and reports
  • Communicates ideas for improving processes within the site and organization
  • Works with management initiatives as directed

  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for equipment-related tasks
  • Possess good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small components and connectors
  • Possess ability to differentiate between color-coded warnings signs, labels, and cables
  • Possess ability to move quickly and efficiently within various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies
  • Possess ability to work in environments with a wide variety of temperature in a facility
  • Possess ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
  • Possess capability to work in environments with elevated noise level while wearing hearing protection
