Job summary

Echo Incorporated in Illinois is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support our Product Managers and Project Managers in developing and launching new products.

This hybrid Lake Zurich role offers collaboration across departments, exposure to program schedules, and an opportunity to contribute to a growing outdoor power equipment business.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in project management, marketing, product development, engineering or sales.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the successful development and launch of assigned new product development projects.
  • Support Project Manager for assigned projects as needed.
  • Create and maintain the detailed project schedule and task list for assigned projects, using supplied template and software.
  • Attend regular project meetings and document discussion notes and action items.
  • Lead meetings for assigned projects.
  • Track tasks and past-due tasks for timely completion.
  • Coordinate new product launch materials with various departments (Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing).
  • Setup new items in the company ERP system and verify item data accuracy with relevant departments.
  • Assist with preparing stage-gate documents for assigned projects, which will be presented to senior management for approval.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date project files and documentation to ensure a clear record across the product development process.
  • Serve as a point of contact for cross-departmental coordination and align timelines and deliverables.

ECHO is expanding its Product Development team with the addition of Pro ject Coordinators! As a Pro ject Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Product Managers and Pro ject Managers to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$65,000 based on experience and qualifications.

This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing stage-gate documents for assigned projects, which will be presented by the team to senior management for approval.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date project files and documentation to ensure a clear record across the product development process.
  • Serve as a point of contact for cross-departmental coordination, helping ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and dependencies among departments.

Job Experience/Skills:

  • 1-2 years of Project Management, Marketing, Product Development, Engineering or Sales experience.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks
  • Experience with development and manufacturing of physical products highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with development and manufacturing of physical products highly preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, operations, or engineering.
