Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, seeks a solution-driven Project Coordinator for its Central Projects team. The role coordinates projects from PO receipt to delivery, acting as the liaison with customers and coordinating internal and external communications.

Position can reside at any Echo Electric Illinois or Indiana location. Compensation is $60,000-$65,000/year plus commission, with a typical 8 AM-5 PM M-F shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of administrative experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Teamwork attitude and willingness to learn and jump in wherever needed to keep projects moving.
• Growth-oriented approach—eager to learn, meet customer needs, and contribute to team success.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they escalate.
• Attention to detail and skill to track progress.
• Lighting and/or Controls background preferred.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, resources and deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from receipt of purchase order to successful delivery to the customer.
• Serve as liaison between Echo Electric and the customer and manage internal and external communications.
• Provide project status reports to customers.
• Work with reps and manufacturers to ensure deliveries are maintained.
• Manage change orders and communicate all project changes to the team.
• Maintain project files and ensure key information is accessible when needed.
• Identify roadblocks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure invoicing and receiving are complete prior to project close out.
• Occasionally meet with customers to establish expectations and timelines.

We have a great opportunity for a solution-driven Project Coordinator to join our Central Projcts team! You will coordinate projects from receipt of purchase order to successful delivery to the customer. You also will be the liaison between Echo Electric and the customer and will be responsible for all internal project coordination and external communication with the customer.

This position can reside at any Echo Electric Illinois or Indiana locations.

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000/year plus commission.

Shift: 8 AM- 5 PM, M-F.

We're looking for a coordinator who:

• Communicates the scope of the project and outlines project timelines.
• Supports cross functional teams such as quotations and outside sales by providing resourceful problem solving.
• Provides project status reports to customers.
• Works with reps and manufacturers to ensure that deliveries are maintained.
• Manages change orders and communicates all project changes to team.
• Maintains project file and ensures that all key information is maintained and accessible if needed.
• Identify potential roadblocks and proactively develop solutions that keep projects on track and expectations aligned.
• Confirms that all invoicing and receiving are complete prior to project close out.
• Occasionally meet with customers to establish expectations, timelines, and other necessary project updates

What you bring:
