Job summary

MPM Industries, Inc. in Glen Carbon, IL is seeking an on-site Project Coordinator to support submittals, material orders, vendor follow-up, delivery schedules, and project records. Entry level opportunity with learning alongside experienced team members.

You will learn to read door schedules and construction documents, coordinate with shop and warehouse, and handle routine customer and vendor correspondence; strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication and willingness to ask questions.
• Comfort with email, spreadsheets, digital documents, and learning new software.
• Ability to prioritize work and an interest in learning commercial construction products and processes.
• Coursework or experience in construction management, business, engineering, operations, or information systems is helpful.
• Customer service, office coordination, or purchasing experience is also relevant.
• A construction degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project files, contact information, task lists, and records of project decisions.
• Help assemble product data and submittal packages and track reviews, approvals, and revisions.
• Assist with sales orders and purchase orders using information reviewed by the project team.
• Follow up on vendor acknowledgments, lead times, shipping updates, and outstanding information.
• Update delivery schedules and help coordinate information with the shop, warehouse, and project managers.
• Prepare routine customer and vendor correspondence and bring delays or discrepancies to the team.
• Learn to read door schedules and construction documents and take on additional coordination tasks as skills develop.

Compensation and benefits
