Position: Project Coordinator

Location: Remote - Illinois

Job Type: 6-month W2 contract with the potential to be extended

Compensation: $48-$50/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Deposit Operations is looking for an Analyst to manage the day-to-day work related to checks. This includes sending official checks and depositing changes that come to us through our Branch, mail, or Mobile Check Deposit.

Job Description

• Work closely with agents and technology to investigate potential process issues
• Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis
• Work with business risk, legal, and compliance to determine remediation strategies
• Manage process remediations
• Work with various stakeholders to define new processes, including building new controls and monitoring
• Able to quickly learn technical and regulated processes
• Review daily monitoring reports and investigate potential issues, document findings
• Review and update as needed customer communications, procedures, process flows customer commitments, and terms and conditions.

Skills Required:

• Project management – able to define scope of work to be done, develop processes and systems for prioritizing, executing, and communicating plans to meet targets.
• Problem solving – can bring clarity and structure to solving ambiguous blockers. Willingness to dig in and figure out problems and make recommendations to solve them.
• Communication – can partner across various functional teams to understand initiatives and execute improvements, providing visibility on status along the way.
• Data and software proficiency – can leverage Excel, Tableau, and other tools to analyze data tied to business controls.
• Compliance mind set - experience working in highly regulated environments
