Summary of Job Duties: Provides project coordination and administrative support to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute for successful completion of Cancer Institute projects and ongoing operations. Coordinates between the various Cancer Institute groups to ensure smooth communication for the timely completion of assigned tasks. Develops and maintains documents and reports related to Cancer Institute operations. The duties of the Project Coordinator directly contribute to the NCI designation efforts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS/Diploma, plus seven years of project coordination experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields, plus three years of project coordination experience.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills required. Skill requirements demand intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, charts, graphs, and other methods as required. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, manage multiple programs at one time, and integrate changes smoothly. High level of accuracy in work is required. Must exhibit excellent ability to edit work for spelling and grammar. Good listening and comprehension skills essential. Ability to multi-task required. Excellent time management skills and ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships.
