Job summary

David Weekley Homes in Dallas is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our operations team, supporting Sales, Construction, Warranty and Project Managers with a wide range of administrative tasks.

You will process contracts and closings, manage building permits with local municipalities, maintain files, coordinate meetings, and handle invoices, while delivering accurate, timely information to drive project success. A detail-oriented, proactive communicator will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail amid interruptions.
• Ability to drive results with vendors and subcontractors.
• Residential building experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; JD Edwards exposure is a plus.

David Weekley Homes is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our Dallas team.Project Coordinators provide administrative support to the operations team--including Sales, Construction, Warranty, and Project Managers.

• Manage/apply for all buildingpermits and work with local municipalities.
• Document, track and report onall building permit and start activities.
• Coordinate meetings and team events.
• Maintain accurate electronic files for each home.
• Pay invoices and utility bills.
• Order supplies.
• Additional support as needed.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and deal effectively with numerous interruptions.
• Drive to get results from vendors, subcontractors, and management and a lack of phone reluctance.
• Prior experience in residential home building and/or the permitting processes is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Exposure to JD Edwards beneficial, butnotrequired.
