Job summary

Gosnaphop is seeking a Project Coordinator in the Chicagoland, IL area to manage day-to-day coordination of multiple telecommunications projects. You will collaborate with project leadership, field technicians, customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, operations coordination, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, customer-focused communication style with the ability to provide a high level of service.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating project schedules, timelines, resources, and daily activities.
  • Serve as a key communication point between project teams, field technicians, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contact technicians in advance of scheduled assignments to confirm job details and readiness.
  • Coordinate technician arrivals, check-ins, check-outs, and daily project progress.
  • Monitor active assignments and proactively address scheduling or execution issues.
  • Respond to technician questions and requests through the service queue.
  • Review completed work and verify that deliverables meet established customer and project requirements.
  • Enter and maintain accurate project and work-order information within internal systems.
  • Obtain customer authorization when additional or out-of-scope work is identified.
  • Track project deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding items to help keep work moving forward.
  • Communicate project updates and potential issues to appropriate team members.
  • Ensure technicians complete assignments within expected timelines.
  • Close completed work orders and accurately document any additional services performed.
  • Assist with maintaining project quality, timelines, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare or provide project updates and information needed by project leadership.

Project Coordinator

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire with potential for Direct Hire for highly qualified candidates

Pay: $21.63–$25.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities

Work Schedule: Full-time, project-based schedule with 8.5-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible to work varying schedules, generally beginning as early as 7:30 AM and ending as late as 9:00 PM. Example schedules may include 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM. Occasional overnight coverage may be needed. Schedules are communicated in advance whenever possible.
