About the Role :

CBRE is seeking a design professional to lead the design and development of new industrial buildings. This individual will work within the Facilities Design group and team with internal associates and outsourced consultants to successfully design projects identified by the Real Estate team.

What You'll Do :

• Support the Facilities Design initiative for Industrial Buildings (new construction, renovations, tenant improvements)
• Development of space requirements presented by departments within Ferguson
• Development of schematic design documentation for Ferguson's facilities
• Develop and manage 3rd party design consultants during development of construction documents
• Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship with all components of the Facilities Department
• Represent the company professionally, ensuring quality customer service
• Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including safety protocols
• Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

What You'll Need :

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred but not required
• Professional registration preferred but not required
• 8+ years of experience in architectural or interiors fields
• Experience in Large Industrial projects preferred
• Experience in Design-Build delivery preferred
• Ability to interpret IBC requirements
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Availability to travel for project coordination, team engagement, and training (10%)
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Note : This position can be 100% remote with limited travel to Newport News, VA (approximately once a quarter).

Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.
