Job Summary and Responsibilities




The Project Coordinator will consolidate, manage and maintain project and program artifacts, communicate with project team members and assist with all aspects of project management tasks and activities. Experienced project coordinators may also be asked to lead small or moderate projects under the direction of a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Support the overall project staff for Turf and other internal departments
  • Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting and administrative tasks
  • Updates necessary internal and client-based tracking and repository systems to ensure that project and program status and documentation is maintained with complete accuracy
  • Keep Management informed regarding the progress of all project coordination activities
  • Must have the ability to plan and prioritize workload; as it relates to Site Acquisition, Planning, and Construction projects and programs
  • Alert Management of problems/conflicts relating to the execution of assigned projects
  • Assist with the coordination of all tasks related to invoicing and purchase orders (as directed by the PM).
  • Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project and program for both internal and external distribution
  • Assist with the process of managing material requisitions and purchase orders; as directed by the PM
  • Assist with the coordination and assembly of project tower construction and close out binders (if required)
  • If required - assist team in permit preparation and application
  • Responsible for the maintaining and close out of projects; as they relate to Turf construction or similar projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs; continues to monitor all project documentation (tower completion, etc.) for integrity and completeness
  • Obtain and ensure commitment to schedules from necessary team members for construction deployments and completion
  • Perform a wide variety of administrative duties as required to support project completion
  • Track deliverables, conduct timely data entry and real-time status reporting (for Client, Project Management)
  • Assist PM on milestone tracking and documentation and will oversee quality control
  • Input/upload all project information-ensuring accuracy and completeness to the required client and in-house repositories

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous business and project experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Able to work extended hours on occasion
  • Positive and professional attitude

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with Alabama poles owners, ie. APCO, ATT.
  • Pole Make Ready (MR) experience
  • Experience using JUMS (APCO Joint User Database)
  • Pole application experience
  • Experience delivering Comms Notices to pole attachers who are not the pole owners

Pay Range in the United States: $22 - $32 based upon geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive based on company and individual goals and performance.
