Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Lead Technicians and Project Managers with project administrative duties in Ashburn, VA. The role covers planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and meeting coordination to ensure on-time project delivery.

You will maintain project plans, monitor timecards and expenditures, prepare materials for meetings, and manage communications among teams. A strong work ethic, organizational skills, and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist Leads and Project Managers with day-to-day project administrative functions.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Develop project strategies with the Lead Technician, Superintendent, and Project Manager.
  • Ensure projects adhere to requirements and all documentation is maintained.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Coordinate, manage, and make travel arrangements for technicians traveling to the project.
  • Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign responsibilities.
  • Perform project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk to the project.
  • Order, track, sort, inventory, and receive materials.
  • Track labor production to ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborates with the entire organization.
  • Primary liaison between Project Manager and Lead Technicians.
  • Submit access requests for employees and testers.
  • Manage all test results and maintain them in the project’s as-built folder.

The minimum hourly range for the Project Coordinator position is $30 hourly and the maximum hourly range for the position is $35 hourly. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
