Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II (PCS-II) to support the Project Controls Group for the Cayuga Combine Cycle Project in Vermillion County, IN. This on-site role requires strong cost, scheduling, and change-control skills and frequent field verifications.

Applicants should have basic project controls knowledge and the ability to work with Estimators, PMs, and field staff across the project lifecycle. Relocation assistance is provided for this position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2+ years relevant experience or HS/GED with 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate periodic project controls analytics and distribute findings.
• Perform change control for scope, schedule and cost changes.
• Lead benchmarking and self-assessment in project controls.
• Aid PMs with WBS, schedules and cost tracking.
• Create and maintain project estimates with estimators.
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve issues.
• Coordinate data and reports with field and home office.
• Support project meetings on site and at the home office.
