Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 7 years of experience in lieu of education.
• 3 years of direct contractor experience is also acceptable.

We are involved in projects like the Sixth Street Viaduct, the K-Line Light Rail, and various express lanes and construction packages.

What You'll Do:

1. Prepare material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for various project phases.
2. Assist in developing conceptual estimates and independent cost estimates to support project budgets and change management.
3. Help create and manage budgets and schedules from design to project completion, using detailed estimates to develop schedules.
4. Review and assess project team or contractor progress schedules and advise project managers or clients.
5. Support cost forecasts, analyze actual costs, and maintain estimating standards and databases.
6. Consult on potential claims, claims avoidance, and claims support.
7. Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and client presentations regarding project controls metrics.
8. Define project risks, maintain risk registers, and collaborate on mitigation plans.
9. Support project control systems and technology, and assist in their implementation.
10. Participate in negotiations, including price negotiations and change orders, as needed.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field + 3 years’ relevant experience, or
• 7 years’ relevant experience in lieu of education, or
• 3 years’ relevant direct contractor experience.

What We Prefer:

• Certifications like AACE PRMP, PMI RMP, or similar.
• Experience in multiple project lifecycle phases.
• Experience as a client’s PM/CM or as a design-build contractor.

Compensation:

The approximate pay range is $93,540.99 - $146,307.68, dependent on qualifications, experience, and location within California.
