Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States with hybrid work options. Under limited guidance, you will develop basic to moderately complex cost and schedule baselines, collect monthly progress data, and prepare standardized reports for management.

You will gather progress information from managers, update schedules and resources, perform EVM reporting, analyze variances, and document changes to baselines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cost and schedule baselines and EVM concepts.
• Experience with federal/government regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze monthly cost and schedule progress.
• Update data on schedule dates, percent complete, resources, and commitments.
• Develop time-phased cost and resource forecasts.
• Prepare client and internal status reports on cost status and trends.
• Maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Perform earned value management (EVM) performance reporting.
• Document and assess impact of project changes on baselines.
