Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls Professional to provide financial analysis, forecast costs, and deliver timely reports to support project budgets in New York.

The role collaborates with project teams to ensure accurate status and proactive risk management. Ideal candidates have strong MS Excel skills, experience with Oracle/Cost systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial/cost systems and cost control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop proactive solutions and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience on projects over $5M design / $50M construction cost is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost and schedule forecasting and earned value analysis.
• Assist with development of project estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for management.
• Track variances to budgets and communicate trends to leadership.
• Coordinate with finance to issue invoices and monitor budgets.
