Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Controls Specialist in Houston, TX to support NASA programs. You will apply business systems knowledge, assist with scheduling and organizational tasks, and collaborate with NASA civil servants and contractor staff in a dynamic, onsite environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing system access requests, and supporting project managers with strategic communications as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of experience.
• Experience with MS SharePoint site creation and curation.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to organize, coordinate and host meetings of varying sizes.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with NASA and contractor staff.

Project Controls Specialist will:

• Apply knowledge of business systems to assist project goals
• Assist project managers in organizational & scheduling duties with internal and external partners
• Assist project managers with strategic communication
• Assist team members with system access requirements and requests
• Perform other duties as required

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
