Job summary

VAS, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls SME 3 in Aiken, SC. The role involves guiding management on classification requirements, compliance, and the CD process, and providing input to specifications for engineered equipment and subcontracts.

Responsibilities include advising estimators on resources, aiding schedulers with sequence and logic, and contributing to risk-informed schedules and milestones. Collaboration with engineers, schedulers, and writers is required.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls.
• Fifteen years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; candidates not meeting education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience.

Basic Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls
• Fifteen years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management
• Five years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise bachelor’s degree. Candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience
