Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Aiken, SC, seeks a Project Control SME 3 to support DOE-related projects. You will guide cost/schedule control, review subcontracts, and ensure risk-informed scheduling with input from engineers and estimators.

Role requires U.S. citizenship, DOE order fluency, and 15+ years of related experience. A Bachelor's degree is required; federal standards knowledge is preferred. Some travel may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to management on classification requirements and compliance and on the CD process and deliverable format
• Review and provide input to specifications for engineered equipment and/or subcontracts
• Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work
• Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities
• Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs
• Provide input to engineers, estimators, and schedulers on constructability, maintain-ability, operability, and commissioning
• Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary

Education and Licensure

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls
• Fifteen years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management
• Five years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise
• Bachelor's degree (candidates not meeting the education requirements may be consideredbased on additional relevant experience)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 15 years of relevant experienceor equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
