Job summary

PMA is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to support planning, execution, and delivery of engineering, construction, and capital improvement projects. The role involves developing and maintaining integrated schedules with Primavera P6, conducting risk analyses, and producing performance reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on construction management and scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6; Microsoft Project a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and updating baseline schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and status updates of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop and maintain both summary and detailed project schedules for large-scale engineering, construction, and capital improvement projects.
• Review project requirements and contract documents to ensure scheduling deliverables are incorporated into project plans.
• Perform baseline schedule reviews, schedule updates, and schedule quality assessments to ensure compliance with objectives.
• Review and analyze contractor schedules to evaluate progress and performance.
• Monitor project progress against baselines, identify critical path activities and variances.
• Perform schedule risk analyses, what-if analyses, and recovery plan reviews.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc schedule reports and executive summaries.
• Analyze schedule trends to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain project resource assignments and scheduling data for accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain project controls documentation and scheduling standards.
