Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support utility Transmission & Distribution and Substation EPC projects in the Houston area. The role requires 5+ years of scheduling experience and advanced Primavera P6 expertise.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience in utility T-Line and/or Substation projects.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 with cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Experience with Linear Scheduling and long-lead equipment planning.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like TILOS or Acumen Fuse/Risk.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.

About this Role

Scheduler - Utility T&D & Substation

Location: Must already reside in Houston area.Travel Requirement: Up to 40% (domestic)Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role

QISG is seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support utility Transmission & Distribution (T-Line) and Substation EPC projects. Candidates must have 5+ years of utility scheduling experience in T&D and/or Substation projects, clearly reflected on their resume. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining resource- and cost-loaded P6 schedules, performing critical path analysis, forecasting schedule impacts, and partnering closely with project teams to drive successful project execution from planning through completion.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage LSM and CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable projects
  • Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines and execution strategies
  • Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
  • Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking
  • Identify schedule risks, evaluate sequencing, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports for project controls and executives
  • Support look-ahead planning, short-interval schedules, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain compliant schedule documentation per contract and company standards
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience supporting utility transmission lines (T-Line) and substations - required
  • Advanced Primavera P6 expertise, including cost- and resource-loaded schedule development
  • Experience with Linear Scheduling, large-scale sitework, and long-lead equipment planning for utility projects
  • Familiarity with TILOS, Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, or similar schedule analysis tools
  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, coordinating across multiple departments
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
