Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a cost-focused project controls professional to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems forFederal construction projects. You will prepare estimates, manage baselines, and track variances with timely corrective actions.

You will support the IMS, run risk analyses, and present KPI-based performance reports to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with government contracting

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience may substitute for a college degree.
  • Domestic travel is required; international travel contingent on project demand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems.
  • Prepare cost and schedule estimates and provide accruals, earned value, and variance reports.
  • Establish baselines for cost and schedule and identify variances with corrective actions.
  • Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and progress reporting.
  • Conduct cost and schedule risk analyses and present performance reports to stakeholders.
