Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Hawaii seeks a Project Controls Planner for Data Center projects to develop and manage integrated schedules, align plans with project goals, and support project controls functions for efficient delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of planning experience, with Primavera P6 or MS Project expertise and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a planner/scheduler.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Construction industry experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules for efficient construction project execution.
  • Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval.
  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
  • Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances affecting schedule performance.
  • Ensure credibility of schedule information and alignment with project data.
  • Review schedules with project teams to ensure accurate, timely data.

Job Description Summary

The Construction Project Planner/Scheduler will support our clients by developing strategic plans and integrated schedules aligned with project goals and objectives. Will work with project controls functions to support project management in efficient project delivery for our clients.

Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules so that capital construction projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible
  • Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor to provide guidance and recommendations for the project
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams
  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
  • Maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance
  • Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule
  • Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
  • 4 or more years of related experience working as a planner/scheduler.
  • Expertise using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
  • Experience within the construction industry required.
  • Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 106,250.00 - $125,000.00
