Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Project Controls Planner for Data Center projects within our Project & Development Services group. You will develop integrated schedules, monitor progress, and advise stakeholders to keep capital construction on track.

Minimum 4+ years in planning/scheduling, a Bachelor's in a related field, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project are required; strong communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a planner/scheduler in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules.
  • Interface with stakeholders as a trusted advisor on scheduling.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval.
  • Assess impacts to critical path and report variances.
  • Provide schedule progress reports, trend charts, and analyses.
  • Maintain records of scope changes and schedule performance.
  • Review schedules with project teams to ensure data accuracy.

Job TitleProject Controls Planner, Data Center, Project & Development ServicesJob Description SummaryThe Construction Project Planner/Scheduler will support our clients by developing strategic plans and integrated schedules aligned with project goals and objectives.
