Job summary

Traylor Industrial, a Tyler-based contractor, is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls function on a major project. This role reports to the Project Manager and may oversee a scheduler or cost coordinator on larger jobs.

Responsibilities include developing a Project Controls Plan, preparing weekly/monthly progress reports, maintaining CBS/WBS alignment, and ensuring schedule integrity with client and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project controls
• Strong cost control and forecasting abilities
• Familiarity with WBS and CBS structures
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6)
• Ability to prepare client-facing reports and presentations

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned project personnel and administer the Project Controls Plan
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports in line with client contracts
• Publish production reports and calendars; ensure teams meet deadlines
• Attend client meetings and lead schedule/project control discussions
• Maintain integration of project controls with schedule, cost, and progress measurements
• Ensure project controls department supports workface planning and historical data collection
