Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee cost, schedule, scope, and risk controls on capital projects. The role includes coaching project controls specialists, integrating PM teams, and ensuring reliable estimates aligned with business goals. Office and field work are involved, with travel and on-site oversight.

Preferred candidates hold PMI or AACEi certifications and Primavera P6 experience; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. 25%–50% travel anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field or 8 years equivalent experience.
• 6 years capital project management and/or project controls experience with emphasis on utility capital projects.
• Experience with EPC contracts and owner/contractor controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement PM standards for cost, schedule, WBS, and risk across projects.
• Perform independent assessments and gate reviews.
• Provide training on SGP, PM standards, and project controls disciplines.
• Analyze project portfolio risks and prepare contingency forecasts.
• Coordinate Owner's schedule with contractor schedules and cost reports.
• Support Change Management and document project changes.
• Work in both office and field settings.
