Job summary

Enervia LLC is seeking a Project Controls Specialist in Youngsville, NC to support the financial and operational performance of utility-scale solar and BESS projects. The role focuses on cost forecasting, production tracking, change management, and detailed project reporting.

Collaborating with Project Managers, Accounting, Estimating, and Procurement, you will translate field data into forecasts and insights, ensuring accuracy and timely updates for leadership. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls or related field.
• Experience developing and maintaining project cost forecasts and Cost-to-Complete projections.
• Experience with production tracking, productivity analysis, and quantity-based progress measurement.
• Experience supporting construction change management and change-order tracking.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills to convey financial and project performance to field and executive leadership.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost forecasts from turnover through closeout.
• Prepare and update monthly Cost-to-Complete (CTC) forecasts with Project Managers.
• Track budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals, and forecast-to-completion.
• Analyze project cost trends to identify overruns, savings opportunities, margin erosion, and risks.
• Support monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and reconcile forecasts with accounting records.
• Maintain forecast assumptions and changes across reporting periods.
• Develop project controls dashboards and reports (budget vs actual, forecast vs budget, planned vs installed quantities, labor hours, percent complete, cost to complete).
• Provide concise, data-driven information for executive and project performance reviews.
