Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Project Control Specialist to join our Project Delivery team in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on cost, schedule and change management for capital projects, with exposure to WBS development, reporting, and change control processes.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in project controls for large design/construct projects, plus proficiency with Primavera P3 and MS Project. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or closely related field; WA driver's license required.
At least 3 years of proven experience in project controls for large design/construct projects; cost/scheduling software experience required.

Responsibilities

Review project plans, schedules, costs and changes to meet quality guidelines.
Provide project controls support including WBS, schedule and cost reporting.
Serve as project control systems expert and train staff in their use.
Monitor schedules for compliance with procedures and specifications.
Recommend schedule fixes to management.
Negotiate changes with field personnel and contractors.
Process change orders and manage cash flow reports; evaluate cost/schedule alternatives.
Apply knowledge of cost/scheduling techniques and contract administration.
