Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Houston, TX, to assist with standard design techniques and project duties under senior engineers. The role involves updating designs, applying engineering methods, and supporting construction-phase services across multiple market segments.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering, with a 3.0 GPA, prior internship experience, and strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties assigned.

Construction
The Construction group is responsible for construction phase services in the design-build process and support for safety and health, estimating, pre-construction, field operations, quality and project management. This includes multiple project execution approaches, including self-perform, multi-subcontractor, construction only and program management.
