Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns to perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures. You will assist lead engineers with project duties and help update designs across market segments.

Responsibilities vary by market and include support for construction phase services, safety, estimating, pre-construction and field operations. Interns should be enrolled in relevant programs and demonstrate communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties.
• Support design updates and corrections.
• Contribute to market-specific assignments as needed.
