Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled Projects Cost Controller to support budgeting, cost control, procurement planning, WBS, and project controls for multi-year construction initiatives in the United States.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge and Excel proficiency, with the ability to analyze variances and manage schedules and deadlines. The candidate should have two years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with a focus on independent

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the project management team to come up with budgets and manpower forecasts for multi-year construction projects.
• Monitor and control indirect costs with budget-to-actual analysis weekly; identifying and eliminating root causes for variances.
• Establish an accurate cash flow forecast to ensure the project is cash-positive; monitor monthly and adjust the forecast as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely complex multi-million cost-plus billing submission on a monthly basis.
• Lead procurement planning and ensure compliance and logistics are included in the plan.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) at the time of award and throughout the project duration.
• Support monthly financial forms with cost analyses and variance explanations.
