Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Engineer within our Transportation South division to support WMATA's JDAC program.

The role focuses on administrative, financial, and technical project controls across multiple WMATA projects and requires collaboration with PMs to maintain budgets and forecasts. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and at least 5 years of project controls experience in a fast-paced engineering environment, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls, preferably in cost management.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Oracle PeopleSoft and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Updates and manages project-related data in Procore, including input of project information and uploading supporting documents.
• Generates and analyzes bi-weekly labor reports with PMs to address unauthorized labor costs and maintain budget integrity.
• Prepares monthly expenditure reports and monitors JDAC program balance reports for tracking.
• Coordinates with WMATA Accounting for invoice submissions, refunds, and financial transactions; assists with cost estimates and forecasts.
• Serves as a financial resource for all JDAC project teams with timely financial data.
