Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Controls Associate to support scheduling, cost reporting and forecasting for small projects. You will assist with WBS development, data input, and the creation of scheduling reports while ensuring compliance with project execution plans and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
OSHA 10-hour safety certification is required or able to obtain.
Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Assist project set-up and input data in Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
Develop, implement and maintain scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows and forecasts for small projects.
Assist with creating WBS and coordinating project schedules and scheduling reports.
Review and approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for proper coding.
Assist with earned value management and progress reporting.
Assist quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
Complies with all policies and standards.
