Job summary

Ampirical is seeking a skilled Project Controls Analyst to manage scheduling, cost control, risk management and reporting for large transmission and distribution projects using Primavera P6.

You will partner with project managers and corporate teams on budgets, procurement and risk mitigation, and you will develop resource-loaded schedules and clear milestone guidance. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in project controls are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Business or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project controls and/or project scheduling.
• Thorough knowledge of project controls function.
• Primavera P6 experience required.
• Budget tracking, and variance analysis experience required.
• Experience with vendor contracts, accruals and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling, cost control, and other project controls functions.
• Use Primavera P6 to support Schedulers and Project Managers.
• Develop achievable project schedules based on resource availability and constraints.
• Develop detailed large and complex project plans and WBS to support activity scheduling.
• Collaborate with corporate offices on cost, budget, and procurement issues.
• Create and maintain project schedules in the Primavera scheduling database.
• Provide guidance to Project Managers and stakeholders on milestones.
