Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) leads project controls for Environmental Remediation initiatives at Los Alamos, delivering planning, scheduling, and cost control aligned with EVMS requirements and DOE contract obligations.

The role supports CAMs/PMs, develops IMS, analyzes performance, and provides management with cost and schedule insights essential to safe and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with DOE or government contracting is a plus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls for Environmental Remediation projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting and EVMS.
• Support CAMs and PMs with data analysis, reporting, ETC development, variance analysis, and quality reviews of reports.
• Develop and maintain integrated master plans/schedules (IMS) ensuring cross-functional integration.
• Monitor resource-loaded schedules for EVMS compliance and evaluate schedule logic and critical path.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and life-cycle cost estimates and present analyses to senior management.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Procurement, IT and other departments to support EVMS-compliant systems.
